Russian honored master of sport of Judo, Master of Sports in Sambo, film actor, politician Dmitri Nossov (Dmitry Nosov) was born April 9, 1980 in a military town of Chita-46, Russia. 1987 his family moved to Leningrad, in 1990 – in Moscow. In 1991 his father first took Dmitri to legendary sambo school-70, in which a future Olympic medalist studied until 1997. 1995, Nosov was ranked 2nd in the Championship of Russia on Sambo. Bronze medalist at the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad in Athens (2004). The winner of the Olympic Games in the police force (2003). European Championship bronze medalist (2004), bronze medalist of Russia (2002, 2003). Russian athlete Dmitri Nossov is a member of LDPR (Liberal Democratic Party) and Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation since 2011
Biography of Dmitry Nosov
In 2003 Dmitry Nosov graduated from the Russian State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports. He has a black belt in Judo, and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. “I am an athlete, Sambo, and in this sport, there is no place for the weak. As in sports, and in life, I recognize only the rules of fair play, the game where the strongest wins”.
Now Nosov is a social activist, Chairman of the Charitable Foundation titled “Dmitry Nosov Foundation”, Head of the judo school. Dmitriy regularly meets with young athletes, school children, students actively promoting sport and healthy lifestyle. Nosov was awarded the medals “For Military Cooperation”, “For Distinguished Service”, “For courage” and International Order “Glory of the Nation”.
Dmitri Nossov is also an actor, who starred in the TV series “Zone” and in a patriotic action film “The Way”. Dmitri has two daughters – Zlata, from his first wife, and Darina, born in January 2011, from his second wife, Darya. In the rare moments of free time, Dmitri writes poetry and loves to cook for friends and loved ones.
